yes any shotgun is going to do well enough for you to enjoy the sport. I like a 12 gauge with a tighter choke for trap i like to shoot my 20 guage with skeet. Check your pocketbook what can you afford in the way of a 12 gauge semi auto gas operated? 24 or 26 in barrel is my fave and interchangeable choke tubes that way you use your skeet choke for the skeet range and your modified.imp modified for your trapshooting. Stoeger Franchi Remington Winchester all are fairly priced. OU;s can get expensive but less expensive models are to be had. OU are nice as you can load and unload easily either barrel and you can pick up your spent hulls easier…
